Board of Zoning Appeals
Purpose
When a municipality adopts zoning rules and regulations it is required to also create a board of appeals. The board of appeals purpose is to review and decide cases where there is an alleged error in a zoning decision or where a relaxation of the ordinance is sought.
For more information UW-Stevens Point's Center for Land Use Education and UW-Extension have developed a Zoning Board of Appeals Handbook: Handbook
Meetings
Board of Zoning Appeals meetings are held when an individual files an application with the Village Clerk.
